In April, MARES project hosted a visit from BRIDGE, another UIA project from Rotterdam (Netherlands). For two days, both teams exchanged knowledge and actions, achievements and challenges, facilitated by a participatory methodology. All the activities took place within the Mar de Energía (Centro) and Mar de Alimentación (Villaverde), where the Rotterdam team met some of the projects and people taking part in MARES ecosystem.
BRIDGE project is addressing the urgent urban challenge of better aligning young people’s educational choices with future labour market needs and, as same as MARES, is under the UIA topic ‘Jobs and skills in the local economy’.
